(SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put
our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field,
measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work
the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans
and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces,
develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our
customers.The Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ
is a multi-discipline organization responsible for designing,
-building and integrating state of the art testing environments
(flight simulators for missiles), as the last step before flight
test.--- On our team, you will work with weapon system designers to
understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy
the systems to help support tactical software development, testing,
and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.Please note that due to

Anticipate:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair of existing electronic,
electromechanical, mechanical, laboratory and scientific systems
and/or equipment within the laboratory.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal
descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform prototyping of
hardware, building of cabling and electrical components in support
of engineering testing. -
- Operate the engineering development stations including the use
of both Windows and Linux operating systems with a focus on
thoroughness and repeatability using documented procedures, as well
as assisting in developing new procedures.
- The successful candidate will have a strong desire and ability
for working in a team environment within HWIL engineering
laboratories completing hardware and software test set up,
generating test data, and reviewing test output, that will be used
by engineers to determine laboratory functionality.
- Ability to obtain and maintain program access as required.
- Willingness to work off shift and Saturdays, when
required.Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high
school training) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant
experience.
- Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and/or repairing
electronic equipment.
- Experience using schematics to prototype hardware and/or
cabling.
- Experience instrumenting and/or collecting data for engineering
tests.
- Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security
clearance (not interim) is required prior to start date. US
citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a
security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as
well as written and oral communication skills
- Existing SSBI clearance
- Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable
assembly/installation, electronics maintenance, data acquisition
systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network
analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers
- Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as
Java, C, C++, or similar languages; scripting languages such as
Python and/or Perl, and MATLAB scripts for data analysis
purposes
- Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as
data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic
analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzersWhat We

- Tucson, AZThe salary range for this role is 48,000 USD -
116,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the
role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work
experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired
applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited
