Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES+ Serves as the principal application developer
for the program and leads all phases of lifecycle application
development.+ Provides daily supervision and direction to staff who
are responsible for phone and in-person support to users in the
areas of E-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop
applications, and other network services.+ Manages personnel who
serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware
and software PC and printer problems.+ Develops solutions to
complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and
creativity.+ Conducts root cause analysis to identify, diagnose,
and resolve application problems.+ Orchestrates maintenance to
support application availability to all system users and perform
necessary maintenance to support application availability.+ Creates
and maintains comprehensive documentation for all implemented
applications.+ Resolves interoperability problems to obtain
operations across adjacent applications.+ Configures application
systems to user requirements. Assists implementation plans of new
applications and configurations for insertion and integration.+ May
administer application security and/or maintain application
security tools.+ Works with application vendors to evaluate new
products and resolve design problems.+ Provides guidance and work
leadership to less-experienced network engineers and other
technical staff.+ Maintains current knowledge of relevant
technologies as assigned.+ Participates in special projects as
required.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS+ Active SECRET clearance.+ ITIL V3
Foundations or above certification+ Bachelor's degree in
Information Technology, or relevant discipline; Additional years of
experience may be substituted in lieu of education.+ An IAT II
certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC,
Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required+ A Cybersecurity Service
Provider-Infrastructure Support (CSSP-IS) certification (e.g., CEH,
CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, CND, Cloud+)+ At least four years
supporting enterprise network systems and technology.+
Knowledgeable in the mission and operational requirements of the
U.S. Army.+ Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational
and technical requirements and an advanced understanding of U.S.
Army IT applications and network systems.+ Must be willing to work
overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as
necessary.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS+ 10+ Years of Application
Development.+ ITIL v4 certification.+ Any Project Management
Certification (e.g., CPMP, CPM, Project+, PPM, PMITS, PMP, etc.)+
3-5 years or more of supervisory experience.We are seeking an
