BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
HOURS: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 6:30 A.M. TO 8:00 A.M., AND 2:00
P.M. TO 5:45 P.M.
WEDNESDAYS 12:30-5:45 P.M., DISTRICT 1/2 DAYS 11:00 A.M. TO 5:45
HOURS: 6:30 A.M. AND 6:00 P.M. - MORNING AND AFTERNOON
Under general supervision, does hands-on work in planning,
conducting, and supervising recreational activities for elementary
age children at a designated school or community center. Programs
are generally before and after-school or all day during school
breaks. Activities include group games and activities, arts &
crafts, sports, and supervised outside play, etc.
Responsibilities may include supervision of volunteers,
recreation aides and other subordinate staff. Adapts work to
facilities available and to participants needs. Receives general
instructions from, and reports to, an immediate supervisor
regarding the program and responsibilities to be administered.
Clears procedures and participant behavior problems with their
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
