experience in implementing it within the DoD IT Enterprise? Then we

Technical Advisor for the Joint Interoperability Test Center (JITC)
Test, Evaluation, and Certification (TEC) program!As the Senior
Technical Advisor, you will:Provide advice and recommendations to
the Command and Staff via formal and informal meetings, and formal
papers on the newest scientific and technological improvements for
DOE, C5ISR, M&S, Cloud networking, AI, and leading-edge
networking concepts as they pertain to the development of T&E
policies and procedures for the JITCHave the opportunity to publish
JITC related Professional Journal T&E articles with the JITC
Commander, Deputy Commander, and the JITC Technical Advisor.Receive

Technical Advisor:Perform professional assignments in the general
area of computer hardware, software, and firmware such as: computer
system protocol analysis, computer operations, programming, data
base structuring and management, and T&E of C5ISR, AIS, and
IT/NSSDemonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts,
practices, and procedures and may provide consultation on complex
projects as a top-level contributor/specialistDefine system
requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required
integration with existing applications, systems, or platformsDesign
new solutions or recommend improvements to existing
implementationsDesign and develop technical standards and
functionality tests for new capabilitiesDevelop specifications,
prototypes, or initial user guidesOversee specific software code
development and maintenance, and the development, documentation,
and maintenance of test automation in accordance with quality
assurance standardsAccomplish program and mission goals by relying
on extensive experience and judgmentPerform a variety of complex
tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitudeProvide
consultation on complex projects and be a top-level
contributor/specialistProvide detailed information, advice, and
direction to organizational leadership and technical teamsProvide
and present technical assistance for applications of advanced
theory, principles, concepts, and methodsConduct research and
provide recommendations that support strategic initiatives such as
the development and enhancement of the organization's technical
T&E strategies, networks, laboratories, automation, and
instrumentationOversee research, evaluation, and implementation of
new technologiesIdentify issues associated with implementation of
emerging technologies and appropriate courses of actionWork with
the Government to ensure that recommended solutions meet the
organization's goals and objectivesOversee the technical work of
project administrators, their project teams, and task order
leadsProvide precise communications to government and contractor
leadership regarding work being proposed or performed,

RequirementsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Master's degree in a
relevant technical curriculum to include various engineering and
science disciplines, Physics, Operations Research, Computer
Science, and MathematicsAt least 15 years of relevant T&E
experience with C4ISR / C5ISR, AIS, and IT/NSS systems and
componentsExperienced in Science Based Test Design (SBTD)Current
TOP SECRET or higher clearance eligibilityITIL ITSM / DESMF
understanding and recent experience in implementing within the DoD
IT EnterpriseClear understanding of ITIL ITSM / DESMF best
practices and methodology. The Senior Technical Advisor would
assist the Government and our AMERICAN SYSTEMS IT T&E team in
ensuring implementation.IT/NSS and C4ISR / C5ISR T&E,
specifically with the various DoD DOT&E and DDT&E SBTD
ongoing work with the Naval Postgraduate School and the Air Force
