2025/2026 SCHOOL YEAR This is a Volunteer Position for the
2025/2026 School Year REQUIREMENTS : Completion of SVUSD volunteer
application Successful completion of a Universal Background Check
or IVP fingerprint clearance card dependent on the Volunteer Tier -
as described in application. More information will be provided to
volunteer from Human Resources and related costs are incurred by
SVUSD. Field Trips: If a parent is attending a field trip to
participate with their student, and is not riding the bus or in
charge of overseeing other students, then the parent does not need
to complete a volunteer application . If a parent is riding the
bus, overseeing/chaperoning/supervising other students, then the
parent is considered a “volunteer” and will need to complete the
volunteer application process - Tier 2 or Tier 3. Successful
completion of a Universal Background Check, fingerprint clearance
or IVP fingerprint clearance card dependent on the Volunteer Tier -
as described in application. Cost incurred by SVUSD. FUNCTION :
Volunteering is rewarding for everyone, whether participating in
the school, classroom, playground, or on a field trip, volunteers
