Description: Schedule: 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM daily, Monday through
Thursday. 30-minute lunch break included. On Fridays, students
leave early, and the schedule would be 7:45 AM - 1:15 PM (5.5
hours). Total hours weekly would be 37.5. The Speech Language
Pathologist is part of the related services providers. Responsible
for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing direct intervention for
students. Focus on speech, voice, fluency, and language disorders.
Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other service providers
is essential. Duties include developing a variety of speech and
language treatment plans. Administer and screen speech and language
assessments. Screen, evaluate, and write comprehensive reports for
evaluated students. Assist in the development of individual
education programs. Participate in the multi-disciplinary
evaluation team. Provide direct therapy and instruction to
students. Develop a variety of therapy and instructional
strategies. Consult with staff and parents regarding the speech and
language needs of students. Participate in continuing education
courses and workshops. Participate in Medicaid in Public Schools as
directed. Responsible for some or all of the listed duties and/or
additional duties that may arise. Requirements Required for
