learning. Work with cutting-edge technology. As a registered nurse,
you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the
Emergency Department through the nursing process of interview,
assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and triage . The
Emergency Department (ED) at Canyon Vista Medical Center embodies a
culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the
delivery of patient care. This 22-bed unit operates within a trauma
III hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical
attention and support. RN p rovides direct patient care in the
Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with
applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director
or Manager of Department. Essential Functions Performs plan of care
interventions, including medication administration, specimen
collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and
communicates patient condition to the care team, physician,
patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily
living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and
ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient
care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and
psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates patient and family
learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age,
culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical
and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in
performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality
patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as

Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's
Degree preferred. Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN
License. BCLS required. ACLS, PALS, HAZMAT and Handle with Care
certifications are preferred. TNCC required within one year of
