A clinical nursing opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse with Operating Room skills at a healthcare facility located in Kaibeto, AZ. This contract role offers a chance to contribute to perioperative patient care across various surgical specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive perioperative nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Circulate in all specialty operating rooms with opportunities to gain scrubbing experience. - Be prepared to work varied and on-call hours including emergency cases on short notice. Qualifications and Experience: - Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted RN license valid in any U.S. state, territory, or Puerto Rico. - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications by the American Heart Association. - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire. - Completion of NIH stroke scale training (NIHSS) within 6 months. - Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credential within 1 year of hire. - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) completed within 2 years. - Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing. - Minimum 2 years clinical and/or operating room nursing experience.
