Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tucson, Arizona,

Delivery required License: Valid RN license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP required Must-Have: AWHONN Advanced
or AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 2 years required
Description: TMC orientation is held twice a month. The position
requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Floating may be required based on census. The nurse will have
coverage every other weekend. Patient ratio is 1:2. Travel
candidates with previous charge experience are preferred.
Experience with the Epic charting system is required. The unit
cares for infants and adults with an average daily census of 14.
There are 16 beds available in the unit. Special procedures include
Cesarean sections and D&C. Interdisciplinary support is
provided by IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy among
others. Candidates must possess skills in various nursing
procedures related to Labor and Delivery. The role involves
providing care for antepartum complications and postpartum
complications. Candidates should have experience with multiple
births and high-risk antepartum care. Travelers with only one DUI
on record are eligible for consideration if it occurred more than
one year ago. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. Work
history that includes previous locations must be reviewed for
