  Position Summary:
  Assumes primary responsibility for the safe and effective use of medications in the hospital. Reviews and interprets each medication order to assure it is safe, effective, and economical to the patient. This requires the pharmacist to practice in a clinical, patient oriented manner. Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies according to standard procedure upon written orders of prescriptions from individuals authorized to prescribe in this hospital. This position will be 20-29 hours per week. On Call required, one day per week. Flexible Schedule.

  Minimum Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Post Baccalaureate Education in Hospital Pharmacy practice required. Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred.
    
  • 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
    
  • Must have an active AZ Pharmacist License.
