seeking a Lead Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the SM-3
IIA program within the Naval Power business unit. This lead
position will have 1-3 direct reports and will require the
individual to work onsite at Raytheon’s Tucson, AZ location. For

Relocation assistance is not provided. The Lead MPM will be
accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials
management, including cost, schedule, and quality, as well as the
management of supplier performance. This role will report directly
to the Program MPM Leads, with accountability to the Program
Management Office. Additionally, the Lead MPM will play a key role
in guiding and managing new and upcoming contracts, ensuring
successful execution from inception through delivery. This elevated
MPM role requires practical knowledge and experience in navigating
the execution of processes, projects, and tactics, while
understanding the broader impact of the work as it relates to the
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and other stakeholder areas within the
organization. The successful candidate will possess financial,
contracting, proposal development, and negotiating experience.
Additionally, they will have project management responsibilities,
including but not limited to, risk and opportunity management,
briefing in customer forums, and the ability to work effectively in
cross-functional teams. What You Will Do Manage execution of
processes, standards, and operational plans in support of
Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC,
IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program
execution. May be tasked to act as the Control Account Manager
(CAM). Identify and secure Supply Chain resources to support the
capture plan and manage the Supply Chain content of the proposal
pipeline. Review and assess request for proposals (RFP) and bid
packages. Implement key performance indicators internally and with
our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and
adherence to the plan. Work closely with Operations, Planning and
Finance functions to optimize planning and supply chain cycle to
meet development requirements. Support and engage with various
Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to resolve supply chain issues and
serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas. Lead projects
to enhance Supply Chain performance, continuous improvement and
efficiencies. Assess and mitigate risk associated with Supplier
agreements (delivery, quality, incentives, etc.). Negotiate complex
agreements and manage throughout contract lifecycle. Set objectives
and guide others on the execution and approach to achieve
developmental results. Explain policies, practices, and procedures
and may influence others. Effectively manage and evaluate difficult
scenarios that involve consideration of many variables. Lead
multiple complex projects simultaneously. Qualifications You Must
Have Typically requires a university degree or equivalent
experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an
advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years
experience. SAP experience Experience working with subcontracts at
the proposal phase and prime negotiation experience. Experience
with FAR/DFAR compliance Active and transferable U.S. government
issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Prior experience as a
Materials Program Manager. Skilled at negotiating terms and
conditions with supply base and customer. Minimum 5 years
experience in the fields of supply chain and or related field.
Ability to build and maintain relationships amongst supply base and
customer to ensure smooth and pro-active communication throughout
the supply chain. Experience supporting developmental engineering

107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
