Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Responsibilities · Responsible
for supervision of all electrical maintenance personnel ·
Responsible for safety of personnel, equipment reliability, and
product quality · Train and develop electrical maintenance
personnel in safety, equipment knowledge, and maintenance. · Plan,
control, review and report maintenance costs for the department. ·
Collaborate with operations to maximize process efficiency. ·
Outage and Project management / Coordinate and manage jobs with
contractor support. · Scheduling and tracking work-group tasks and
down-day activities Qualifications Required: · Proven track record
as a leader regarding safety · A preventive, condition-based
approach to maintenance · Excellent communication, organization and
leadership skills and experience · Experience with high levels of
responsibility and decision making. · Strong troubleshooting skills
· Must be self-motivated and possess a strong desire for continuous
improvement. · Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or
software Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent
demonstrated competency in required areas. · Strong project
management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at
once Preferred: · Prior hands-on maintenance experience in Steel
Mill or Related Industry · Electrical systems knowledge (PLCs,
VFDs, Power Distribution - LV and MV) · Experience programming SEL
relays and using SEL relays for fault analysis
