Job Description Job Description Flooring Estimator Direct Hire Full Time, 40 hours a week, some weekends. Starting Rate: $18/hour, with company perks Full Benefits & Generous PTO Package Join our locally owned flooring company as a Flooring Estimator ! In this role, you'll be the key point of contact for our customers, helping them transform their spaces with accurate measurements and expert recommendations. You'll visit clients’ homes to measure rooms using advanced laser technology, determine the exact amount of flooring needed, and suggest options based on current market trends. Your insights will help ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales through friendly, softly upselling. What We Offer: Competitive starting wage of $18/hour Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off (PTO) Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Key Responsibilities: Conduct precise room measurements using laser measuring devices Analyze blueprints, bid specifications, project manuals, and proposals to prepare accurate estimates Recommend flooring options and upgrades aligned with customer preferences and market trends Collaborate with sales and installation teams to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor during all customer interactions Qualifications: Experience interpreting blueprints, bid specifications, project manuals, and related documentation Strong understanding of construction codes and industry standards Tech-savvy with proficiency in using iPads, laser measuring devices, and other digital tools Ability to pass background checks and drug screening Valid, clean driving record (company vehicle provided) If you're detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to grow with a reputable local company, we'd love to hear from you!
